Senior Product Manager
Cloud9 Analytics is looking for a passionate and creative Senior Product Manager to take ownership for the advancement of our industry leading SaaS Performance Management applications. Cloud9’s Performance Management applications automate the planning, execution and optimization process for sales managers today, with support for other front office functions on the roadmap. Cloud9 has over 100 customers around the globe today who report significant increases in revenue as a direct result of deploying these applications across the sales management team. Built on the industry’s first and only SaaS performance management application platform, Cloud9’s performance management applications are delivered directly to the front office manager and, up and running in hours with no IT support required. Responsibilities:

  • • Deeply understand and validate the needs of current and target customers through quantitative and qualitative customer research. Passionately represent the voice of the customer to internal teams. Enable and lead the cross-functional Performance Management applications team to gain a clear understanding of the customer problems we are trying to solve.
  • • Responsible for end-to-end product lifecycle of Cloud9 performance management solutions including: definition of market and product requirements, release planning, functional requirements and specifications through sales enablement and customer communications.
  • • Drive a quality product planning process from product planning, use case definition, development and release cycles with engineering and QE.
  • • Form the vision for winning application solutions, collaborating with Senior Management, Development, Marketing and other Product Managers. Create and execute the short and long-term roadmap to achieve the vision for each application area.
  • • Proactively conceive, define, and drive the creation of new features that customers love.
  • • Prioritize product enhancements and customer requests by making smart, decisive tradeoffs using data-driven analysis and sound judgment.
  • • Create use cases, user stories, and detailed product requirement documents that clearly articulate desired product functionality. Collaborate with the Development, User Experience, QA, and Doc teams to create exceptional solutions to customer problems.
  • • Be the subject matter expert for the Performance Management Applications and act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding of the products and their features internally and externally.
  • • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Training, Professional Services, and Support to create the content and tools needed to successfully sell, implement, and service your products.
  • • Develop a deep understanding of the marketplace and competitive environment.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • • 5+ years of related product management experience. Business Applications and SaaS PM experience are expected.
  • • Experience participating in an Agile development and rapid prototyping process
  • • Experience creating commercial business applications targeted at enterprise users but with consumer-services-like interfaces. Experience with business analytics a plus.
  • • Sound understanding of underlying management and related business processes in the Front Office
  • • Passionate about understanding and solving customer needs
  • • Proven track record of shipping amazing product solutions that deliver clear ROI to customers
  • • Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • • Creative problem solver who inspires innovation across the entire team
  • • Superior analytical skills, sound business judgment, the courage to make difficult decisions and defend these decisions with sound logic

Web Designer/Developer
Cloud9 Analytics is looking for a talented and motivated Web Designer/Developer to manage the day-to-day graphical and technical aspects of cloud9analytics.com, the company’s customer portal, and the company’s marketing automation system.

This position is full-time and on-site at Cloud9’s corporate headquarters in Redwood Shores, CA.

Responsibilities:

In collaboration with the Corporate Communication group and Web Design agency:

• Drive and maintain site layout, look-and-feel, and Information Architecture
• Develop and implement new banners to drive lead conversions and thought leadership
• Create new pages and navigation as needed
• Create and maintain screen shot galleries
• Assess and implement complementary technologies such as on-line chat, in-page video players, screen pops and slide-ups, etc.
• Implement Web site updates, including news items, press releases, events, Webinars, job listings, and management team bios
• Provide video editing services as need for archived Webinars, customer case studies,
• Maintain and enhance as needed WordPress Web platform and self-publishing solutions

In collaboration with demand generation

• Create and implement custom emails and landing page graphics, templates and forms in the company’s marketing automation system
• Develop and implement SEO/SEM landing pages in company’s marketing automation system

In collaboration with social media manager

• Provide design and technical support for company blogs, Twitter account, YouTube channel, and other social media properties

In collaboration with customer experience

• Provide design and technical support for company’s customer portal
• Create new pages and new navigation in customer portal as needed
• Post updates and assets to customer portal as needed

Qualifications:

• 4-6 years experience in on-line design and production
• Proven graphic design experience and track record of engaging and aesthetically pleasing Web sites and elements
• Demonstrable technical proficiency with Web back-ends and programming languages
• Extensive proficiency with WordPress, HTML/DHTML, XML/XSL, CSS, Flash, Adobe Creative Suite, Video and Audio editing and production tools, among others.
• Working knowledge of SEO/SEM best practices
• Knowledge of marketing automation systems such as Marketo desired
• Understanding of UI design and optimal user experience best practices
• Good communication skills and works well in a team environment
• Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or related field
• Only responses with minimum three examples of Web site design and a link to an online portfolio will be considered.
