Jim Burleigh
CEO, Cloud9Jim Burleigh brings more than 22 years of software experience to Cloud9 from a broad range of disciplines: CRM, supply chain, database, and tools technologies. As CEO of SmartTurn, and a senior executive at RedPrairie, Navis and salesforce.com, Jim has a strong record of achievement as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) executive, strategist, and entrepreneur.
Prior to Cloud9, Jim was CEO of SmartTurn, the leading SaaS Warehouse and Inventory Management solution. He founded SmartTurn as a Navis subsidiary in 2004, then spun it into an independent entity. SmartTurn was sold to RedPrairie in 2010, where Jim served as Sr. VP of the On Demand Group until joining Cloud9.
Previously, as Sr. VP of Marketing and Corporate Development at Navis, a leader in the supply chain execution industry, he ran sales, marketing, and product management. He also was responsible for acquisitions.
Earlier in his career Jim worked in sales, marketing and technical roles at salesforce.com, Remedy, BayStone Software, and Oracle Corporation. Notably, Jim was an early member of Salesforce.com, the most successful on demand service to date, where he was the #6 employee. At Salesforce.com he served first as Vice President Business Development, then Vice President Marketing and Product Management.
Jim earned a B.S. degree in Engineering and Applied Science from the California Institute of Technology.

Pete Sinclair
Managing Director, Leapfrog VenturesPete Sinclair brings over 20 years of senior operating and five years of venture capital experience to the Fund. He has been CEO of and successfully sold companies to Microsoft, Novell, and Adobe Systems, and has participated in two IPOs. He started his career with Hewlett-Packard and joined Apple Computer when it was still a small private company. He has raised money from and worked for some of the top venture capital firms.
Pete has a B.S. in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he completed his studies in 3 years and graduated in the top 10% of his class. He is also a graduate of Stanford Business School’s Executive Program for Small Company Presidents.

Bruce Cleveland
Partner, InterWest PartnersBruce Cleveland has been part of InterWest's IT team since 2006, focusing on investments in the software and services sector with an emphasis on Cloud Computing and analytical applications. He is a board member of Aria Systems, Cloud9Analytics, Flurry, Get Satisfaction, Marketo and Signal Demand. Bruce also serves on the C3 Board of Advisors - C3 is Tom Siebel's start up focused on Energy and Resource Management applications.
Prior to joining InterWest, Cleveland was one of the original members of the Siebel executive team. At Siebel, he held numerous executive positions including senior vice president and general manager of products, senior vice president and general manager of the OnDemand and SMB divisions and senior vice president of marketing and alliances. In the latter capacity, he is credited by Forbes and IDC with creating the most effective alliance organization in the enterprise software industry. He also held executive positions in engineering and product management at Apple Computer and Oracle Corporation. Prior to Oracle, he held technical positions at AT&T.
Cleveland attended the United States Military Academy, West Point, and received a B.S. in business administration from CSU, Sacramento.

Rajeev Batra
Partner, Mayfield FundAt Mayfield, Rajeev Batra focuses on Software, Internet and Services. Prior to Mayfield, Rajeev was at American Capital Strategies (NASDAQ: ACAS), Mobius Venture Capital (fka Softbank Venture Capital) and Austin Ventures. In the past, he has worked with companies such as Klocwork, Ecast and MessageCast (acquired by Microsoft).
Rajeev has held a number of sales, marketing and technical positions at high growth software companies, such as Siebel Systems, Scopus Technology and Open Environment Corporation (OEC), which pioneered service oriented architectures and n-tier computing. He was a key contributor in the company’s growth from a bootstrapped startup to its IPO and acquisition by Borland. Rajeev was also a member of the founding team of NetNumina Solutions, an IT consulting firm, which was acquired by Keane.
Rajeev received an MBA from Harvard Business School, an M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, and a BSEE Honors from the University of Maryland, College Park.
