  • Swayne Hill - President & Chief Executive Officer

    Swayne Hill brings to Cloud9 Analytics more than 15 years international executive experience founded in the Business Intelligence, Analytics and Performance Management spaces. He has a proven record of creating value by driving high-growth organizations both domestically and internationally. Prior to joining Cloud9 Analytics, Swayne served as Managing Director in the Asia Pacific region at Cognos, the global leader in Business Intelligence and Performance Management. During his 3-year tenure in Asia Pacific, Swayne increased his regional revenue by 100% by creating a dynamic, high performance sales culture, and by leveraging newly acquired applications companies. The model created, and so successfully executed by Swayne, became the blueprint that was quickly implemented across the globe realizing similar success. Swayne also led the North American partner channel for Cognos - direct mid-market, VAR's and OEM's. His innovations in this area led the introduction of major software releases and became the benchmark for sales process success in the company. Swayne holds a specialist degree in economics from the University of Toronto.

  • Bruce Cleveland - Partner, InterWest Partners

    As a Partner at InterWest, Bruce Cleveland focuses on investments in the software and services sector with a focus on analytic applications and Software as a Service (SaaS). Prior to InterWest, Cleveland was one of the original members of the Siebel executive team. At Siebel, he held numerous executive positions including SVP and GM of Products, SVP and GM of the OnDemand and SMB divisions and Senior VP of Marketing and Alliances. In the latter capacity, he is widely credited with creating the most effective alliance organization in the enterprise software industry. Cleveland also held executive positions in engineering and product management at Apple Computer and Oracle Corporation, and prior to Oracle, he held technical support and management positions at AT&T.; Bruce attended the United States Military Academy, West Point, and graduated from California State University, Sacramento.

  • Mike Boich - Independent Director

    A founding CEO of three companies, Mike Boich has more than 20 years of experience in the hardware, semiconductor and software industries. Mike co-founded and served as the CEO of Rendition, an InterWest-backed graphics chip company, acquired by Micron Technology in 1998. Prior to Rendition, he was the founding CEO of an InterWest-backed Macintosh peripherals company, Radius, which grew from zero to $100 million in four years under his leadership. Additionally, he served as CEO of Eazel, an open source software company whose software now ships with all major Linux distributions. Prior to InterWest, Mike invested in information technology companies for Alta Partners. At the beginning of his career, he worked on the Apple Macintosh project as the first Software Evangelist. Mike holds a B.A. in economics from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

  • Pete Sinclair - Managing Director, Leapfrog Ventures

    Pete Sinclair brings over 20 years of senior operating and five years of venture capital experience to the Fund. He has been CEO of and successfully sold companies to Microsoft, Novell, and Adobe Systems, and has participated in two IPOs. He started his career with Hewlett-Packard and joined Apple Computer when it was still a small private company. He has raised money from and worked for some of the top venture capital firms. Pete has a B.S. in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he completed his studies in 3 years and graduated in the top 10% of his class. He is also a graduate of Stanford Business School's Executive Program for Small Company Presidents.
