Congratulations to 2011 Customer Achievement Award Winners

At the recent Cloud9 Customer Summit held in San Francisco, we announced the 2011 winners of the annual Cloud9 Customer Achievement Awards.  These awards recognize organizations who have delivered significant results in their efforts to maximize sales performance.

Most Innovative Deployment:  Comcast Digital Entertainment / Fandango

This award recognizes customers for the most unique implementation of Cloud9 software solutions.  Comcast Digital Entertainment/Fandango received this award for how they have implemented Cloud9 to help them monitor and forecast revenue in the complicated digital advertising business.  With their implementation of Cloud9, they are able to better forecast revenue across multiple sites on a monthly basis.

Sales Process Improvement:  Stanley Black & Decker

The Sales Process Improvement award recognizes the customer with the most impressive improvement in important sales performance measures.  Stanley Black & Decker, an S&P 500 company and a diversified global provider of tools and hardware, won this year’s award for significant improvement in sales processes for forecasting calls, weekly sales meetings and one-on-one coaching that delivered a significant, quantifiable increase in sales. Just one quarter after implementing Cloud9, the Stanley Black & Decker team experienced a 47 percent increase in closed deals, a 65 percent reduction in expired deals and a 74 percent improvement in pipeline activity.

Business Results Improvement:  Websense

This award recognizes customers who have delivered the most impressive bottom-line results to the business.  Websense, a global leader in unified web, data, and email content security, received this year’s award for increasing GAAP revenues by 11 percent year-over-year due to Cloud9’s ability to offer transparency into the pipeline. This transparency allowed Websense to shorten the sales cycle and considerably increase customer retention rates.
